Male sexual function: supporting patients in primary care

This eLearning activity focuses on the screening, identification, treatment and management of male sexual dysfunction using a biopsychosocial lens. It is suitable for health and medical practitioners in general practice, and primary health care more broadly. 

The course covers erectile dysfunction and ejaculatory disorders. It features case studies to enable participants to apply the knowledge they gain and explores the role of a multidisciplinary approach to supporting patients.

It will address the various aspects of male sexual function and associated pathologies including: 

• sexual functioning 
• erectile dysfunction and contributing conditions/causes 
• issues of ejaculation and ejaculatory disorders 
• the psychosocial impact of sexual dysfunction  
• treatment and supports available in primary health care. 

Case studies are featured to enable participants to apply the knowledge they gain and will explore the role of a multidisciplinary approach to supporting patients.
