The Consult - Neurological presentations in primary care

Neurological presentations comprise approximately 4% of encounters in Australian general practice. Neurological presentations range from relatively straightforward to life threatening, and GPs therefore play a key role in the triage, assessment and management of such presentations in the community. The other critical roles of the GP are in prevention and management of chronic neurological conditions like stroke and dementia.

This lunchtime webinar is part of Medcast’s ‘The Consult’ series. Through a variety of clinical cases, our GP medical educator, Dr Simon Morgan, will present best practice tips on assessment and management on a range of neurological presentations.

This session is designed to give you a punchy update and can be watched live or on demand. The webinar will be delivered over 30 minutes, with 15 minutes available at the end for questions and discussions. Additional resources will be provided for self-directed learning.
