Dr Rowena Christiansen
Dr Rowena Christiansen (BA Hons, LLB, Grad Dip Ed, MBA, MB BS, ACCAM, DCH, Master of Emergency Health) is currently a Case-Supported Learning and Principles of Clinical Practice Tutor and an Examiner for the University of Melbourne Medical School Graduate MD program and works part-time in research and clinical medicine. Rowena is also a member of the Australian Resuscitation Council (Victorian Branch) First Aid Standards Sub-Committee and Research Grant Selection Panel. Rowena became a qualified Lawyer in 1982 then went on to commence medical studies in 2000 and has post-graduate experience as a doctor since 2005. During this time her medical experience has included Registrar positions in Anaesthetics, Rural and Remote Medicine and Neonatal/Paediatrics. Rowena has also had a long standing relationship as an educator and medical advisor with the Australian Ski Patrol Association and Lake Mountain and Mt Baw Baw Ski Patrols.
